Now, owners of these European vintage models can install the EV conversion at one of R-Fit’s garages, giving their cars a new lease on life. The retrofit kit has a battery pack, electric motor, and an onboard charging. The kit for the Renault 4 is available now for 11,900 euros ($12,800). The kits for both the Renault 5 and first-generation Twingo will be available at a later date. It also adds modern comforts such as Bluetooth connectivity and USB ports to stay connected while on the road.
